Timothy J. Ziegler, OD

Dr. Ziegler completed his undergraduate degree in 1987 at the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He majored in Zoology and Psychology. He then continued his education at the Illinois College of Optometry and graduated with his doctorate degree in 1991. While at the Illinois College of Optometry, Dr. Ziegler was awarded the Primary Care and Advanced Ophthalmic Care Services Award of Distinction. This was given to the top 5% of students who showed leadership and clinical knowledge in the primary care rotation. Dr. Ziegler joined Dr. Hale's team in the fall of 1993 and continues with patient care at the refractive office. He continues to dedicate his studies to refractive surgery and in April of 1999, Dr. Ziegler was invited to speak at a refractive surgery symposium in Cozumel, Mexico. Dr. Ziegler's role at the Hale Vision Correction Center is one of patient education and pre- and postoperative care. This gives all of his patients the feeling of comfort and reassurance knowing that they are in capable and dedicated hands from the moment they walk in the door to the completion of surgery and for the remainder of their follow-up care.
